Hello, I’m Samia sometimes Wonder Woman, coder, storyteller, and problem solver, hopefully making people’s lives just a little bit better.

I didn’t always know I wanted to be a designer.

My journey started at the Apple Store, where I discovered a love for creating thoughtful, seamless experiences—and learned the real impact of great customer service and experience design. At the same time, I was fascinated by human behaviour, which led me to study Psychology. I hoped to better understand people on a deeper level, but quickly realised clinical psychology wasn’t for me—I cared too deeply to stay detached from others’ challenges. That curiosity eventually brought me to design, where I found the perfect intersection of creativity, empathy, and problem-solving.

Today, as a Product Designer, I draw on both my psychology background and design training to create meaningful, user-centred experiences.

I’ve been fortunate to work at Campaign Monitor, Atlassian, Google, Intercom, and Medicspot, where I’ve honed my skills and developed a design philosophy I live by: work fast, work smart, but never compromise on user experience. I believe that early clarity and real insights often matter more than pixel-perfect UIs—sometimes it’s better to validate a strong idea quickly than over-polish too soon. I’m always looking for ways to speed up the process without losing depth or quality.

Outside of work, I’m a dancer, photographer, coffee lover, traveller, foodie, and aspiring chef (with the occasional cardio workout to balance it out). Let’s chat design, food, or travel—feel free to drop me an email and say hi!
